How did I not know about this?!?!? Weren’t we around June 2007? I so remember this guy from Hunter. And what is a “paraprofessional,” exactly?

That’s gotta be how Bush just felt when Obama told the world that America is ready to lead once more.
Also, drinking before Slumdog Millionaire was probably not such a great idea. I slept through the half-hour lead-up to the climax of the movie, and then had no idea what was going on when he won all that money. I did enjoy the bit of Bollywood at the very end, though. Quite cute.

Just woke up from a nap to the most hilarious, narcissistic, fantasy dream I’ve dreamt in a loooong time. It involved a pool, a vacation, several trips to the supermarket, and people from my past, present and future (?). I woke up feeling incredible, and then slowly felt embarrassed as I came to the realization that none of that had just happened. I’m trying hard not to judge myself...

Quincy Jones has started a petition to ask President-Elect Obama to appoint a Secretary of the Arts. While many other countries have had Ministers of Art or Culture for centuries, The United States has never created such a position. We in the arts need this and the country needs the arts—now more than ever. Please take a moment to sign this...

A man stood inside a Metro station in Washington, D.C. and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, thousands of people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.
Many minutes went by and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few...

I feel this strange overwhelming sense of sadness. I had a great break, seeing all of the people I cared to see, but having to go back to school already is downright depressing. Now that Kim and Tiff are gone, this short vacation is very much coming to an end. I’m actually kind of terrified to go back to take finals, but I guess that’s natural. I’m just kind of terrified to get...
